From my perspective I have a strong personal understanding of how beneficial massage can be. I have always participated and performed at a high level of sport and that is what triggered my interest in the body and in particular massage therapy.
As an athlete I have learnt a great deal about how massage therapy enhances sports performance. I’m also really interested in how the body responds, and how massage is beneficial for everyone and not just athletes. It’s fascinating how massage helps the body to perform to its highest level whilst also preventing injuries. Where injuries do occur, sports massage is really effective in rehabilitating the body in achieving a full and speedy recovery. I’m always enthusiastic to learn more and discover how the body works.
