Angela Stevenson D.O.,

Clinical Modalities & Specialisms

  • Craniosacral Technique (Involuntary Mechanism/IVM balancing)
  • Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) Therapy (Sub-sensory resonance for tissue inflammation and neuro-musculoskeletal pain)
  • Functional & Lifestyle Medicine (Root-cause intervention via sleep, stress, and lifestyle support)

Angela is a highly experienced Craniosacral Therapist and Frequency Specific Microcurrent therapist. With a rich 43-year background in healthcare—including a long career as a registered Osteopath—Angela's passion lies in providing evidence-informed, holistic care for individuals facing complex and chronic pain. Her  integrative approach combines the subtle, restorative nature of Craniosacral Therapy with advanced bio-resonance technology, specifically Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM). Angela frequently employs FSM to help patients break down stubborn scar tissue and adhesions while simultaneously aiding vital detox pathways to encourage deep, systemic healing.

About Craniosacral therapy and Frequency Specific Microcurrent therapy:

Craniosacral therapists use light touch to listen to the body. Tension is gently unwound, and injuries and emotional wounds are acknowledged so the patient can heal themselves. This approach is often surprisingly profound and effective.

The subtle involuntary rhythm of the body can be accessed anywhere on the body, but the head and pelvis are key areas of treatment.

Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) uses tiny electrical impulses at particular frequencies to resonate with the body's tissues. This new therapy is effective for scar tissue and adhesions resulting from injury, surgery or chronic inflammation. FSM is also an effective tool for detoxification, Vagus nerve regulation and nerve pain.

Angela combines these two modalities simultaneously and synergistically, producing a powerful healing effect. After a thorough case history and examination, the patient will lie down comfortably while warm, damp towels are applied for the FSM. The current is subsensory so the patient does not feel it. Angela will place her hands gently on different areas to guide her choice of frequencies whilst also applying craniosacral therapy. Treatment usually lasts 45 minutes to an hour or longer.
